Training held within Erasmus+ project GEOWEB at the University of Novi Sad

An intensive training entitled ‘Quality Assurance workshop’ was held from 25 to 31 March 2018 at the University of Novi Sad, Serbia within the Erasmus + project ‘GEOWEB’ (‘Modernising geodesy education in Western Balkans with emphasis on competences and learning outcomes’). The Department of Geography of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics of the University of Tuzla is a participant in this project.

 

Very useful and innovative topics related to the teaching process have been discussed at the meeting:

  • Quality management: quality planning + quality control + quality assurance + quality improvement;
  • Quality assurance in curriculum development;
  • Review of the Quality Management in Higher Education;
  • Work in groups: Joint questionnaire for students’ evaluation of the course, joint questionnaire for evaluation of the course by teaching staff (general courses and courses implemented through problem teaching);
  • Work in groups: adjusting of the joint questionnaire for evaluation course by the students;
  • Introduction: Design and development of material resources for learning. Quality in online learning;
  • Work in groups: Control list for quality assurance of learning materials;
  • Good practice in learning / teaching. Assessment of peers. Formative assessment. Constructive alignment;
  • Work in groups: microteaching and evaluation


The participants at the workshop were Professor Alma Kadušić, Ph.D, Professor Sabahudin Smajić, PhD and Professor Edin Hadžimustafić, PhD Local Coordinator for University of Tuzla.
