This year III Congress on Mental Health: Meeting the Needs of the XXI Century “CHILDREN – SOCIETY – FUTURE” was held on October 8-10, 2021. due to the COVID 2019 pandemic.

This Congress was planned to hold an in-person meeting in Moscow, Russia. But due to continued health risks and ongoing restrictions on international flights to Russia the Russian Organizing Committee took a decision to transform the upcoming III Congress on Mental Health into an entirely virtual congress.

Congress aims is to create favorable conditions for preserving and enhancing the mental health and well-being of children and adolescents, necessary for the healthy develop-ment of families, communities, and societies and the future of human civilization.
Many Mental Health Experts were invited from all around the world to speak about their special topics. Prof. Dr. Hans-Werner Gessmann was also invited to speak about the topic “Transidentity of children and adoloscence”.

The presentation is really informative with good points and examples to understand the topic better. Transidentity is a new and interesting topic for viewers. Prof. Dr. Hans-Werner Gessmann is working with transgender persons for more than 20 years and act as expert for the German courts.
