The 7th General Assembly of the Balkan Universities Association was held today, 27 September 2023 in Tuzla at the end of the first day of the BUA 2023 Conference.
The topics of today’s 7th meeting of the General Assembly of the Association of Balkan Universities (BUA) were the presentation of new candidate members, the signing of the agreement on the accession of members who were admitted to the Association at last year’s General Assembly meeting, the official presentation of the „Certificate of Presidency“ to the President of BUA 2023, Prof. Dr. Nermina Hadžigrahić, the Rector of the University of Tuzla and the appointment of the Rector of the University of Tirana, Albania, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha for the chairman of BUA 2024.
Today’s meeting was attended by the General Secretary of BUA, Prof. Dr. Erhan Tabakoğlu, the Rector of Trakya University, Prof. Dr. Sorin Costreie, Vice-Rector of the University of Bucharest and President of UNICA, and representatives of universities from 12 BUA member countries.
