On September 23, 2024, a contract was signed between the University of Tuzla and Tehnograd d.o.o. Tuzla for the construction of the first building in the University Campus in Tuzla, completing the public procurement process for the contractor of the construction project. This building will house four faculties: the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation, the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Philosophy, and the Faculty of Law.
The planned period of construction of the first phase of works (rough construction and construction-craft works) lasts 16 months.
In addition to the university management and the deans of the faculties being constructed in the first phase, the signing ceremony was attended by Irfan Halilagić, the Prime Minister of the Tuzla Canton, Žarko Vujović, the President of the Assembly of Tuzla Canton, and Dr. Ahmed Omerović, Minister of the Ministry of Education and Science of Tuzla Canton.
The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for October 3, 2024, at 11 AM.
