In the period from July 1-3, 2024, “St. Cyril and Methodius” University from Skopje organized a meeting and study visit in Ohrid within the framework of the “jOiNEd For sUsTainability – building climate REsilient communities in WB and EU – 1FUTURE” project.
During the first day of the visit, the final report of work package 2 (WP-2 Initiating climate and sustainability action within academia) was presented including the process and achieved results. As part of the work package WP3, a report on the procurement of equipment and the establishment of the KHCS workspace, as well as information on the platform for academic-business cooperation, was presented. The training and teaching plans for 2024-2025 within the framework of task 4.1 were finalized, and a workshop on financial reporting was organized.
During the second and third day, revised syllabi for existing courses and a new curriculum for short intensive courses and learning materials were presented, as well as a report on the quality of the organization of the previous meetings. Professors from the University “St. Cyril and Methodius” from Skopje presented their research and projects on the topics of energy efficiency and sustainable development.
