Faculty of Physical Education and Sports organized for the fourteenth time the Symposium entitled “Sport and Health” with a theme “Sports Diagnostics” on 2 and 3 December 2021. This year, the organization of the program was in a combined form, with the physical presence of listeners in accordance with epidemiological measures and in an online form.
Inviting lecturers were eminent experts in the field of scientific research in the field of sports and physical education: Prof.dr. Marko Stojanovic from the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education from Novi Sad, Prof. Dr. Marko Stojanović from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport from Novi Sad, Prof. dr. Mario Jeličić from the Faculty of Kinesiology of the University of Split and Prof. Dr. Tarik Huremović, Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, Head of the Center for Research in the field of sports.
The Opening was attended by the Prime Minister of Tuzla Canton, Prof. Dr. Kadrija Hodžić, Rector of the University Prof. Dr. Nermina Hadžigrahić and Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Vlatko Šeparović as well as many guests from the region. Dean of The Faculty presented Certificate of Appreciation for supporting the work of the Faculty to Prime Minister of Tuzla Canton.

Professor Stojanović’s lectures were aimed at two audiences, “Eccentric training – from rehabilitation to sports performance” for sports coaches and “Physical education for lifelong form” for teachers of physical education and sports.
Successful realization of the Symposium is an incentive for the management of the Faculty to start preparing the organization of the program for 2022, which marks 60 years of physical education, 20 years of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports and 15 years of the International Symposium “Sport and Health”.
