The Conference of the Balkan Association of Universities titled “Academic Cooperation, Challenges and Future Perspectives in the Balkans” was solemnly opened with the performance of the anthem of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the academic anthem Gaudeamus.
The Rector of the University of Tuzla, Prof. Dr. Nermina Hadžigrahić, Rector of Trakya University, Prof. Dr. Erhan Tabakoǧlu, Prof. Dr. Sorin Costreie, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation from the University of Bucharest, Mayor of Tuzla, Zijad Lugavić, Minister of Education and Science of Tuzla Canton, Ahmed Omerović, Prime Minister of Tuzla Canton Irfan Halilagić. The conference continued with the first panel titled: “Internationalization at the Balkans’ Universities: Potentials and Challenges and Future Perspectives in the Balkans”.
