A series of meetings of the Management Board of the GEOWEB project, funded by Erasmus + program, were held from 20 to 24 June 2017 at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. Project coordinator is the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, the 79th ranked University in the world. The local participant in the project is the Department of Geography of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics of the University of Tuzla.
Since the project entered its second stage, an overview of the project development was carried out, and completed activities were analyzed as well. Project participants discussed activities to be carried out in the second stage of the project, namely, the purchase of the ArcGIS software licenses, revision and improvement of the curriculum, development of at least 14 pieces of learning materials (books, textbooks) by 7 partner universities, organization of two workshops (Problem-based learning and Quality Assurance), organization of the final training in October 2017, setting up a web platform for e-learning for each partner university, implementation of the course evaluation by students and organization of the meeting of the International Advisory Board of the Project.
The meeting was attended by Edin Hadžimustafić, PhD, project coordinator for the University of Tuzla.
