A meeting of the STINT (Erasmus +) project consortium was held at the University of Politecnico to Porto in Portugal from 25 to 29 September 2018. The meeting was attended by all public universities from Bosnia and Herzegovina, representatives of competent institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as representatives of KU Leuven, Buckinghamshire New University and Politecnico do Porto University.
The project ‘Strengthening of Internationalization in B&H Higher Education – STINT’ is part of the Erasmus+ project KA2 – Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education.
During the three-day meeting, the results of the project have been presented for all public universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina in terms of internationalization, also results of the project have been summed up and tasks have been set up for the completion of the project. Representatives of all public universities presented four pilot activities implemented within this project, strategy for internationalization, adopted rulebooks on international cooperation as well as indicators for international cooperation. Dissemination activities are also presented in which information on international projects is presented at the University of Tuzla. Application activities on ERASMUS + projects were agreed for both key activities KA1 and KA2 with international partners.
Apart from all public universities in BiH and representatives of BH, the participants of the STINT project are the Politecnico de Porto University of Portugal and Buckinghamshire New University (BUCKS), UK, while the Coordinator of this project is the University of Leuven, Belgium.
