In the period from 13 to 16 June 2017, a meeting of Erasmus + KA2 STINT partner project ‘Strengthening Internationalization at Universities in BiH’ was held at the University of Mostar and at the University ‘Džemal Bijedić’. Representatives of the University of Tuzla at the meeting were Prof.dr. Meliha Hrustić, Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof.Dr. Zoran Iličković, Vice Rector for Research and Merima Baraković, Senior Officer for International Relations at the University of Tuzla.
During the meeting, proposals for strategies and indicators of internationalization of all public universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina were presented. The results of the survey were obtained on the basis of student and management surveys of all public BiH universities on internationalization, as well as the results on the recognition of qualifications obtained on the basis of a survey of secretaries of all public BiH universities. Also, a comparative analysis of internationalization and recognition of qualifications in Bosnia and Herzegovina was presented. Different presentations were also held on topics: university ranking, new criteria for accreditation and others.
In the STINT project, all public universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, three EU universities participates and those are: KU Leuven University from Leuven (Belgium), Buckinghamshire New University (United Kingdom and Northern Ireland) and Instituto Politechnico do Porto – (Portugal). The project partners include the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Agency for the Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HEA), the Agency for Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions of Republic of Srpska (HEAARS), and the Information Center and Recognition of Higher Education (CIP) Documents.
Coordinator of the STINT project is KU Luven, Belgium, and the coordinator from Bosnia and Herzegovina is the University of East Sarajevo.
