The solemn promotion of graduates and masters of the University of Tuzla was held on 22 December 2022.
A total of 723 graduates and masters, divided into three groups, were promoted at the promotion.
FIRST GROUP
In the first group, diplomas were awarded to graduates and master’s students of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Law.
233 diplomas were awarded.
Graduates of the Faculty of Medicine took the Hippocratic Oath.
SECOND GROUP
In the second group, diplomas were awarded to graduates and master’s students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, the Faculty of Technology, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Civil Engineering, the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation.
In the second part of the promotion, a total of 240 diplomas were awarded.
Graduates of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports took the Socratic Oath.
THIRD GROUP
In the third group, diplomas were awarded to graduates and master’s students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Huumanities and Social Sciences, the Academy of Dramatic Arts, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, and the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
In the third part of the promotion, a total of 250 diplomas were awarded
Graduates of the Faculty of Pharmacy took the Hippocratic Oath, and those of the Faculty of Natural Science and Mathematics took the Socratic Oath.
Graduates and masters of all groups were addressed by the Rector of the University of Tuzla, Prof. Dr. Nermina Hadžigrahić who emphasized that this is not an ordinary day, that it is a day to celebrate the achievements of all graduates and masters, that everyone is happy that today we have so many young people who are looking for knowledge, new and better achievements.
The graduates of the third group were addressed by Almir Šuta, secretary of the civil service body of the City of Tuzla and Minister of Education and Science in the Government of Tuzla Canton, Ahmed Omerović, who wished them success and to apply their knowledge in practice as soon as possible.
The ceremony ended with the traditional toss of hats.
