Representatives of the University of Tuzla participated in the conference of the Balkan Universities Association in Podgorica

Univerzitet u Tuzli - Predstavnici Univerziteta u Tuzli učestvovali na konferenciji Asocijacije balkanskih univerziteta u Podgorici

 

Rector of the University of Tuzla, Prof. Dr. Amir Karić, and Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Nermina Hadžigrahić participated in the two-day conference of the Balkan Universities Association, held on April 1–2 at the University of Montenegro in Podgorica.

During the first day of the conference, Rector Karić took part in the session titled “Balkan Cultural Heritage”, while Vice-Rector Hadžigrahić presented at the session “Balkan Studies”, making a significant contribution to the discussion of contemporary academic and cultural trends in the region.

On the second day of the conference, the General Assembly of the Balkan Universities Association was held, during which, among other things, a decision was made to admit eleven new universities as members. The new members come from Azerbaijan, Croatia, Turkey, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, further strengthening regional and international cooperation in the field of higher education.
