The International Relations Office of the University of Tuzla participated in the two-day workshop “Road Map To BiH,” held on December 4–5, 2025, at the American Corner Sarajevo, as part of an initiative supported through the U.S. State Department’s Study Abroad Program and implemented by American Councils.

The workshop brought together representatives of seven higher education institutions from across Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fulbright English Teaching Assistants, as well as experts from the United States. Participants jointly explored new models and approaches that would facilitate the arrival of U.S. students to study in Bosnia and Herzegovina, enhance international mobility, and further strengthen cooperation between higher education institutions in BiH and the United States.

A special segment of the program was dedicated to the exchange of experiences within the COIL/EDGE program with Pennsylvania State University. This modern concept of virtual international collaboration enables joint online teaching and project work between students from BiH and the U.S., significantly contributing to intercultural learning, strengthening academic ties, and preparing students for future mobility opportunities.

This initiative represents an important step toward improving opportunities for U.S. students in Bosnia and Herzegovina and increasing the international visibility of higher education institutions in our country.
