What DEMTeDLIA aims to do
DEMTeDLIA is an Erasmus+ project dedicated to enhancing digital literacy and coding skills for individuals with autism. The project aims to equip educators with the necessary training and resources to develop tailored educational materials and effective teaching strategies that cater to the unique learning needs of autistic individuals. Over 29 months, DEMTeDLIA will create specialized curricula, digital learning materials, and a skills recognition system to promote inclusive education. Through structured training programs and innovative teaching methodologies, the project fosters accessibility, inclusion, and empowerment for both educators and learners, bridging the gap between digital education and autism-friendly learning environments.
General objective
The DEMTeDLIA project, an Erasmus+ initiative, focuses on enhancing digital literacy and coding skills for individuals with autism. Its mission is to equip educators with the necessary tools and training to create inclusive and accessible learning environments for autistic learners, thereby fostering a future where all individuals, regardless of their background, can thrive in the digital age.
The project believes in empowering both educators and students by providing tailored educational materials, innovative teaching methods, and digital upskilling. Through its activities, DEMTeDLIA aims to create a long-lasting impact by improving educational accessibility and promoting inclusion for individuals with autism across Europe.
By collaborating with experts and organizations, DEMTeDLIA seeks to bridge the gap between technology and autism-friendly education, paving the way for a more inclusive and accessible digital future for all.
