Stakeholder Meeting with Sisecam within the Erasmus+ BIOSINT Project

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ BIOSINT project, a stakeholder meeting was held on 27 November 2025 at Sisecam Soda Lukavac, aimed at strengthening cooperation between academia and industry in the field of nutrition and applied biomedical education.

The meeting was organized in connection with the implementation of the Nutrition course at the Faculty of Technology, University of Tuzla, and included a student project defense session conducted as part of the Together Student Internship Programme. Students presented the results of their applied projects, demonstrating the practical knowledge and competencies developed through the course.

The meeting brought together representatives of Sisecam Soda Lukavac management and mentors, members of the Human Resources Department, as well as faculty leadership and teaching staff from the University of Tuzla. This multidisciplinary exchange enabled constructive discussions on aligning academic curricula with industry needs and expectations.

Particular emphasis was placed on stakeholder feedback, opportunities for enhancing student employability, and identifying possibilities for future collaboration, including internships, joint projects, and knowledge transfer initiatives. The successful organization of this stakeholder meeting highlights the contribution of the BIOSINT project to promoting innovation, reinforcing university–industry partnerships, and strengthening capacity building in higher education through active stakeholder engagement.
